Join this initiative for a chance to win monetary prizes and to help save lives!
We've developed a crowdsourcing, social media, mobile media fun contest to find AEDs (automated external defibrillator) and raise awareness. This project is a community improvement initiative and part of a research study being conducted at the University of Pennsylvania.
When someone collapses and stops breathing an AED can save their life.
AEDs are located all around you in public locations - near your home, your work, at the grocery store.
No comprehensive map exists. As a result, AEDs are often not used when they are most needed.
Fire up your smartphone, logon to the website, snap a photo and send it to us. Report AEDs and you could save someone's life!

Submit AED photos and locations from around the USA in advance of the Contest launch by emailing a photo and address with specific details about the location (i.e., 2nd floor, next to elevator). Email us!
Note: early submissions will not count towards the Contest but will further the broader initiative.
